AutomateIt is a task automation app that lets you define custom rules to control your Android device's behavior based on real-world events. Instead of manually adjusting settings throughout the day, you can set up trigger-action pairs that respond automatically to changes in your environment, time, connectivity, and more.

The app comes with preset rules to handle common scenarios: low battery warnings, silent mode at night, normal volume in the morning, and automatic adjustments when headsets connect or disconnect. You can also unmute your device via SMS if needed. These templates give you an immediate foundation without requiring setup from scratch.

Triggers form the foundation of automation. Monitor battery levels, Bluetooth connections, incoming calls and SMS messages, headset status, location entry and exit, power states, screen activity, Wi-Fi networks, time-based schedules, GPS changes, USB connections, airplane mode, dock status, app launches, outgoing calls, sound mode shifts, device startup, NFC tags, weather conditions, cellular signal strength, and even activity recognition (detecting when you're walking, cycling, driving, or standing). Actions determine how your device responds when a trigger fires. Set sound modes, adjust volume levels, enable or disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, toggle airplane mode, manage mobile data, control screen brightness and rotation, launch or close apps, send notifications, play sounds, vibrate, dial numbers, send SMS messages, enable text-to-speech announcements, change your wallpaper, set screen timeout, and more. Advanced actions like device shutdown and reboot require root access.

Battery savings come naturally when you let the app handle repetitive tasks. Disable Wi-Fi and data when you leave home, lower brightness automatically in low-light conditions, switch to silent mode during meetings or sleep, and manage background activity without lifting a finger.
